Preserving the Patron Experience While Improving Library Efficiency

When Rochester Hills Public Library wants to ensure a message is clearly communicated to all users, they take a three-pronged approach: publishing the same message on their website, online catalog, and as part of their patron email notices.


RHPL has implemented Vega Discover and LX Starter with their Polaris ILS to begin building a more integrated ecosystem for their staff, and a consistent user experience for community members.


One benefit of this approach is they are able to share the same message and the same library branding across multiple channels. They have also recently signed on to use Vega Promote for email marketing and Vega Promote Web for their library website.


Focusing in community engagement tools that work together seamlessly with their ILS has allowed them to maintain a high level of service and offerings to their community while reducing staff stress and streamlining the patron experience.
